To kick off their wedding celebration, Hana and Kyle planned a bright and colorful Mayfair Hotel wedding welcome party. I had the absolute honor of capturing this fun party for them – documenting all of the joy of their entire wedding weekend! Hana and Kyle’s gorgeous party was so much fun and I can’t wait for you to see it all here!

Wedding Welcome Party at the Mayfair Hotel 

Before the party really began, I met up with Hana and Kyle for portraits around Mayfair House. Located in Coconut Grove, Mayfair House worked beautifully for more portraits of the almost newlyweds, but also for their joyful colorful party! If you’ve never visited the Mayfair Hotel, it’s worth a stop. The architecture is incredible and each room is uniquely decorated to create a truly beautiful venue. Hana and Kyle allowed me to work with them throughout the hotel, including by the pool deck’s bright mural and in various spots around the greenery-filled atrium. There were so many wonderful spots to get creative with them for their portraits!

After our portraits, Hana and Kyle went to celebrate with their guests. For both their welcome party and the wedding, Hana and Kyle leaned into bright and joyful colors. They encouraged their guests to wear bright colors too – and you’ll see that they did just that! Kyle wore a light pink suit for the party that went well with Hana’s elegant blush dress. They both looked amazing through our portraits and their party. 

The Atrium turned out to be a perfect spot for their welcome party in the hotel. It’s a gorgeous open space on the main level, with all of the greenery and rooms rising above. Their guests had plenty of space to mingle, dance, and enjoy the delicious food Hana and Kyle picked! It was honestly the most laid back and special way to kick off the wedding festivities.
