One of my close friends that I worked with met this guy in a lounge, gave him a ride home from the airport, and seven years later they tied the knot in their Banyanian Arts and Events Center Wedding! It was wild how they met, but their love is just so romantic and vibrant that I was beyond excited to shoot their wedding. Getting to capture the love of friends on their wedding day makes my job that much more amazing!
Joe & Tracey’s Story
“Our story began on April 24th, 2014. It was by chance we met on a random night at a pool hall/lounge. Joe walked in and immediately saw a beautiful woman across the room and had to meet her. Tracey greeted Joe with a big smile and from there started it all. Before the night ended Joe asked Tracey for her phone number, called a few days later and we picked up right where we left off.”
“Our first date was Tracey giving Joe a ride home from the Tampa Airport after a baseball tryout and the rest is history. Our 20 min conversation on a random April night led to seven years of love and a lifetime to go.”
Getting Ready At Bayanihan Arts and Events Center
Everyone was giddy with excitement! The ladies were together getting hair and makeup done while sipping on champagne when I came in. Tracey was beaming with joy, I could tell that she was so happy that today was finally here. When I saw her dress I was taken back. The detail of thick lace in the bodice complimented the clean satin skirt perfectly. Then she put her wedding dress on and she became a bride! It suited her in every way and I was in total awe of her beauty!
When I went over to catch few getting ready photos with Joe I was equally impressed with his tuxedo choice. Joe opted for probably the coolest three piece suit I have ever seen! He wore a white tuxedo with the navy vest and pants, then he paired the look with brown leather dress shows and a pink bow tie. This couple has some serious style!
First Look
Tracey and Joe had such a sweet wedding first look. Joe was so excited to see Tracey in her wedding dress that I don’t think he could have waited any longer! When he saw her he simply melted! You can just tell the love and adoration he has for her with the way he looks at her.
Something I love about having first looks with just the bride and groom is the intimacy that follows. Typically when it is just the two of them sharing this moment, both the bride and groom become more present in this beautiful moment. They really let their walls down, and their wedding day nerves just melt away. A wedding first look is a wonderful way to be grounded in each other right before the ceremony.
Bayanihan Arts and Events Center Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Tracey and Joe made their Bayanihan Arts and Events Center wedding even more special by being married on their 7th dating anniversary! From their first date of picking Joe up at the airport to now, these two have grown more and more in love. This love made the ceremony so meaningful as their family and friends witnessed their coming together as a married couple.
Everything about their outdoor wedding ceremony was perfect! The weather was amazing, not a cloud in the sky! And the gardens and greenery of the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center were the best backdrop you could imagine. But not only was the weather and venue gorgeous, but so was the décor! The wedding floral arch was such a high end looking piece that tied everything together and looked so lovely!
Ballroom Reception
Tracey and Joe’s Bayanihan Arts and Events Center wedding reception took place in a gorgeous ballroom. The color palette was Blush and navy blue with accents of gold. The colors they chose were both masculine and feminine, and made such a statement!
Speaking of statements, this entire ballroom reception was draped with curtains and crystals. It was so stunning and gave such an elegant look. This accompanied with the colorful florals and the chic table center pieces made the ballroom look stunning!
A fun fact about Tracey is that she is a stationery artist! She designed her own menu cards for the reception, which turned out absolutely jaw dropping! And, she also designed her wedding invitations as well!
