Jessica and Tavaris are married! Congratulations to one of my newest couples. Jessica and Tavaris planned an incredibly elegant Italy inspired wedding day at the Bibb Mill Event Center in Georgia this spring. Every detail was so well thought out and inspired by the couple and their adventures together. I loved spending the day with Jessica and Tavaris and their sweet families, as they became husband and wife! 

Their Love Story

Jessica and Tavaris met and began dating while they were in college in Alabama. Unfortunately, after graduation Jessica moved away and they decided to stop dating when she moved back to Atlanta. Not long after her move, Tavaris reached out letting her know that he was moving to Atlanta himself and wanted to take her on a date. The rest was history! 

On a trip to Italy for Jessica’s sister’s 30th birthday, Tavaris proposed. It was a beautiful dreamy proposal right on the Amalfi Coast – so perfect for the two of them! During a family photo shoot, Tavaris dropped to one knee to surprise Jessica. It was amazing! Now Jessica and Tavaris are husband and wife, which is beyond exciting!! 

Wedding Day at the Bibb Mill Event Center 

Jessica and Tavaris are so sweet. It’s clear that they love their family and friends more than anything in the world. I loved watching those relationships on their wedding day – as well as all of the little details Jessica worked so hard to bring to life and bring their personalities to their celebration. Jessica is the oldest daughter, so it was a big deal for her family and her parents. There’s something so special about watching a bride with her parents on her wedding day! 

Italian Inspired Wedding Day in Georgia 

Jessica and Tavaris chose the Bibb Mill Event Center because it reminded them of Tuscany, Italy. From the beginning, Jessica really wanted to lean into her love of romance and garden vibes, which worked perfectly at this venue! Jessica and Tavaris decided they wanted to do a first look before their ceremony. During their first look, they read their vows privately – which is always such a sweet idea! Doing a first look also allowed us to explore more of this incredible venue. 

Outdoor Garden Wedding Ceremony 

The Bibb Mill Event Center has the most incredible grounds. Jessica and Tavaris chose to have their ceremony on the lawn because of the gorgeous views. They really leaned into the florals and incredible decor to bring the space to life. I’m obsessed (still) with the white and pink flowers that were everywhere and they even use a little platform for their ceremony, which really called attention to the newlyweds as they exchanged vows. It was absolutely PERFECT! During the ceremony, Jessica and Tavaris chose to include some special traditions including lighting candles and jumping the broom at the end of their vows. I always love when couples include traditions that matter to them and their families. 

Congratulations again, Jessica and Tavaris. Your entire day was stunning and I’m still dreaming about all of the beautiful details you planned so perfectly. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together – you’ve already proved you can go the distance together!
