Bethany and David are married! After celebrating 8 years together, they’re now husband and wife. Bethany and David planned the most gorgeous and personalized Centro Asturiano de Tampa wedding day. It was absolutely incredible – celebrating their love story, personalities, and their heritages. I loved every minute of this stunning Tampa wedding day! 

Their Love Story

When Bethany and David met, David was pretty much done for on the spot. He says he fell in love at first sight and that he was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. Bethany and David began to hang out – quickly realizing that they felt as if they were the only two in the room. There was an instant connection and they felt like best friends, even after just meeting. 

Last October, David got a ring and was just waiting for the right time to propose. In early December, that time arrived. Bethany and David both love Christmas. They were decorating the tree together when David told Bethany to get their pet rabbit, Scarpetta, and he popped the question intimately at home. Bethany and David have been together 8 years and I know they couldn’t wait to be married! 

Centro Asturiano de Tampa Wedding

Bethany and David’s wedding felt so classic! I adored Bethany’s wedding gown – it had the most fun little tulle bow on the back and David looked absolutely dapper in a white smoking jacket. Perhaps the most beautiful part of their day was their ceremony. David is an author – so their ceremony was incredibly touching. His vows had all of us in tears, and I know they’re words that Bethany will cherish for years! They held their ceremony right in the heart of Centro Asturiano de Tampa, showcasing the beautiful historic space for their guests. During their portraits, we made sure to capture some of the incredible interior, as well as the outside of this classic Tampa building. It was important to Bethany and David that we document all of what they loved about Centro Asturiano de Tampa! 

Cuban Inspired Wedding Day 

To honor David’s heritage, their wedding day featured many incredible Cuban details! Bethany and David served delicious Cuban food – some of which was being made fresh right in the room. It was amazing (and smelled so good!). Throughout the day, Bethany and David included other details that were special to them – including having their pet rabbit make an appearance! One of my other favorite details were their centerpieces – they featured photos of them both as kids at certain ages. It was super fun and a wonderful way to showcase what’s special to them. They also had amazing custom matchboxes to give out as favors for their wedding day – and David and his groomsmen had a cigar room, too. Another great nod to his Cuban roots!

Bethany and David, I wish you nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness! I know you’ve been waiting for the start of this chapter – and I know it’s going to be beautiful for you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a gorgeous personalized celebration. It was a dream and I’m honored I could capture it for you!
