I’m sure the colors and wedding theme you choose to have on your big day are important to you. Wedding flat lays are a great way to show them off!

The Basics: Invitation suite, rings (engagement ring, bride’s band, and groom’s band), bridal gown, veil, shoes, all jewelry (watches, earrings, necklace, tiara, etc), garter, cufflinks.

It’s no secret that e-invitations are gaining popularity because of their convenience but I personally think that there’s nothing better than a physical invitation suite, especially when it comes to wedding details photos. 

Whether you decide to send electronic wedding invitations or actually use physical invitations, I highly recommend that you order an invitation suite that includes 3 or more pieces (ex: main card, save the date cards, envelopes, menu card, RSVP card, directions card, etc). 

Invitation suites photograph beautifully in a wedding flat lay, they also include a lot of the memorable details of your wedding day, like the venue, date, time, etc, that will help tell your wedding day story in photos. 

Tip #3: Start your Own Family Heirloom 

If you don’t already have a family heirloom or want a new one, you can start your own family heirloom by getting a meaningful item that can be passed down to your future children and their children.
