Romantic Adams Estate Wedding | Jessica & Michael
Jessica and Michael’s Adams Estate wedding was romantic, whimsical, and filled with beautiful details. More than anything though, their day had several meaningful moments that made it uniquely theirs and truly unforgettable. As an Adams Estate wedding photographer, these are the celebrations I love most, where the details are gorgeous, the venue is a dream, and the love is overflowing.

Jessica & Michael’s Love Story
Jessica and Michael met in St. Louis in 2020, and their first date was at Forest Park, where they spent hours walking and talking.
From the beginning, they bonded over their shared love of travel, adventure, fitness, and simply telling stories together. One of their favorite memories took place watching the sunrise together at Cliff Cave Park, as well as celebrating Jessica’s birthday in Maui. Eventually, they moved to Tampa and began building their life together on Harbour Island with their dog, Hudson.
While dating, they took a memorable trip to Paris where Michael proposed to Jessica during a dinner cruise. Yes, it is just as romantic as it sounds. During the cruise, Michael took Jessica to the back of the boat and got down on one knee. A photographer who happened to be on the cruise captured the proposal, while the people around them cheered.
Then, as if the moment couldn’t get any better, fireworks went off shortly afterward for Bastille Day. It’s hard to imagine a more memorable beginning to their engagement.

Adams Estate Weddings
For their wedding celebration, Jessica and Michael chose Adams Estate, a gorgeous Tampa venue that blends natural beauty with elegant architecture. Set along the water of Lake Alfred, the property offers a beautiful mix of lakefront views, lush greenery, and refined architectural details.
Their Tampa tent wedding reception allowed guests to enjoy the atmosphere of an outdoor wedding and enjoy the gorgeous lake views, while still having a comfortable, elevated, and covered space for dinner and dancing. If you’re considering this venue for your own celebration, I’ve created a more detailed guide with everything you need to know about this elevated central Florida venue: Adams Estate Weddings.

Romantic and Whimsical Wedding Design
Jessica and Michael chose a romantic and whimsical wedding design centered around white and blush pink. The soft palette felt perfectly at home against the natural landscape of Adams Estate, creating a wedding gallery that feels light and timeless.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful blush pink dresses in a variety of styles and patterns. Rather than having every dress look exactly the same, the different styles added personality while still keeping the overall look cohesive. Completing their look where clean and classic white flower bouquets.
Throughout the reception, soft florals and stringed lights decorated the space, complementing the elegant tent setting. With the lake visible beyond the reception space, the entire design felt like an extension of the landscape, making it beautiful, airy, and incredibly inviting.

Memorable Wedding Day Moments
One of my favorite parts of Jessica and Michael’s wedding day was how many opportunities they created to slow down and really enjoy the moment together.
Before the ceremony, Michael surprised Jessica with several special gifts. Jessica shared first looks with her bridesmaids and her dad, before then meeting Michael outside for their first look. Afterwards, they shared a private moment where they read their handwritten vows to each other. This was a special moment that allowed them to take a few quiet minutes to focus entirely on one another.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
The couple exchanged vows in a lovely outdoor garden ceremony facing the lake and framed by beautiful trees and landscaping. Immediately following their ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour on the Lakefront Terrace. The open air setting allowed guests to mingle and celebrate while taking in the water views. The relaxed atmosphere gave everyone a chance to enjoy the beginning of the evening together. For a Tampa wedding, it’s hard to imagine a more stunning backdrop for cocktail hour than the lakefront at Adams Estate.

As the evening continued to unfold, the celebration became even more fun and personal. Jessica and Michael’s first dance was to Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. Later, the couple surprised their guests with two late-night treats: donuts and mini burgers. These little details are what make a wedding feel unique to the couple. From their song choice to the food they served, Jessica and Michael found ways to infuse their personalities throughout the celebration.

Catholic Church Ceremony at Sacred Heart Church
Jessica and Michael’s wedding story didn’t end at Adams Estate though. The following day, they held a Catholic ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Tampa, making the weekend even more meaningful and special. View more of their Sacred Heart Church Wedding.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Jessica and Michael began their next chapter together exactly as they envisioned and it was an absolute joy to document.
