Adams Estate Weddings
Central Florida is home to a variety of luxurious and elegant wedding venues. One of my favorite Florida wedding venues is located midway between Orlando and Tampa in Lake Alfred, Florida. Adams Estate is a gorgeous, historic wedding venue in central Florida. It provides a perfect blend of classic elegance, natural beauty, and flexible design. With more than 24 acres, the property is surrounded on three sides by a 700+ acre lake, framed with citrus groves and mature oaks, creating a private, scenic backdrop for weddings. Adams Estate Weddings are some of my favorites to capture. With beautiful surroundings and top notch accommodations, this luxury venue creates the perfect atmosphere for hosting your big day.

Brief History of Adams Estate
Dr. Charles W. Adams, a founding settler of Lake Alfred, and his wife, Emmie Reynolds Adams, built the estate in the 1940s. The estate remained in the family for generations before opening its doors to weddings and events. Today, it retains its heritage charm while offering modern amenities.

Wedding at Adams Estate
Adams Estate is often described as a timeless, romantic canvas, rich in architectural and natural detail. Some of my favorite features include the classic architecture of the Estate House, especially the French doors that open to the lakefront terraces and gardens.

Relaxed and Refined Getting Ready Spaces
Adams Estate Bridal Suite
Another standout feature of Adams Estate is the luxury Bridal Suite. Brides can get ready onsite in this beautiful, spacious suite, with over 3,000 square feet. The Adams Estate Bridal Suite connects to the main house and comes with everything you need to have a stress-free, relaxed time while you get ready. The suite comes with full-length mirrors in every room, an area dedicated for hair and make-up, comfy couches, and of course, more breathtaking views.
Adams Estate Boat House and Groom’s Loft
Located separate from the main house is the Boat House. The first floor is often used as a rehearsal dinner or departure brunch space. Then, the Groom’s Loft takes up the entire top floor of the Boat House. There is ample space to relax and get ready, and even play, as the area comes with a custom bar, Ping pong table, antique game table, a large flat screen tv, and even a fishing dock outside.

Adams Estate Ceremony + Reception Options:
The Ceremony Garden and Lakefront Terrace
The Ceremony Garden and Lakefront open-air Terrace are stunning areas for hosting your wedding day events. Walk down the aisle in the picturesque garden area overlooking the lake, shaded by ancient oak trees covered in Spanish moss. The seating area here can accommodate up to 200 guests. After vows have been exchanged, and you are officially husband and wife, everyone can gather at the Lakefront Terrace for your cocktail hour or reception. Here, you and up to 200 guests can still enjoy those gorgeous water views and epic Florida sunsets as you enjoy your evening.

Florida Tent Weddings
When you book Adams Estate weddings, you receive exclusive access, which means there are no overlapping events. Every rental also includes the glass-enclosed, climate-controlled tent for up to 150 guests. This allows you to host your Florida wedding under cover with luxury draping and lighting while still staying connected to the outdoors with 360 degree views. In fact, Adams Estate is known for their beautiful tent weddings. Because of the tented option, the transition between outdoor and indoor reception is seamless.

Guest Lodging and Accommodations
Not only does Adams Estate come with everything you need to host an elegant, luxury wedding, but it also provides accommodations for your guests, making travel easy for any out of town guests. The Estate provides charming Cottages & On-site lodging allowing for up to 56 overnight guests total. However, for weddings hosted in 2027 and beyond, please note that there is a two night lodging minimum for Saturday venue rentals, and a buyout is required of all units.

Adams Estate Wedding Photography
As a Central Florida wedding photographer, I have to mention the stunning, expansive grounds and beautiful estate that provides amazing photo opportunities. Between the formal gardens and waterfront views, there is no shortage of ideal spaces for wedding photos. Many couples take advantage of multiple locations on property for portraits. It’s truly a romantic, dreamy spot for your first portraits as husband and wife.
