Armature Works is a premier waterfront venue in Tampa’s historic Heights District. This gorgeous venue offers an elegant blend of modern luxury and historic charm. Originally a streetcar storage facility from the early 20th century, Armature Works has been meticulously restored into a dynamic event space, perfect for luxury weddings. At Armature Works, couples can choose from a variety of luxurious spaces, each offering its own aesthetic and capacity for different wedding styles and sizes. This venue is so versatile, which is another reason I love it as a Tampa FL wedding photographer!  

The Gathering

The largest space at Armature Works, The Gathering boasts over 10,000 square feet of event space with exposed brick, wood flooring, and industrial charm. This space can host up to 550 guests for seated dinners and up to 1,200 for cocktail-style receptions. It’s ideal for large, elegant weddings that want to make a statement. 

Rooftop 220

For couples looking for a breathtaking view, Rooftop 220 is an extraordinary choice. Rooftop 220 has both indoor and outdoor space features, including the stunning open-air deck with views of the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa. It accommodates up to 125 guests, making it perfect for intimate, upscale cocktail receptions. 

The Theatre

With its historic roots as an entertainment space, The Theatre features original wood truss ceilings, exposed beams, and modern touches like shiplap walls and wrought iron fixtures. It can host up to 130 guests for a seated reception or 175 guests for a cocktail-style event, making it a great option for medium-sized weddings with a mix of vintage and modern charm. It’s a beautiful space for Armature Works wedding receptions!

The Courtyard

If you’re dreaming of an outdoor wedding in Tampa, Armature Works’ Courtyard is a beautiful option! It is a stunning spot for outdoor cocktail hours or ceremonies. The Courtyard is adjacent to The Gathering. It pairs well with large indoor receptions, offering an open-air complement to the indoor spaces. Twinkling lights and a view of the sky add a romantic touch to the space! There’s something magical about this outdoor space.

Social Room & Social Hall

For more intimate gatherings, the Social Room and Social Hall are perfect options. They provide elegant, smaller spaces that are perfect for pre-reception gatherings, cocktail hours, or even micro-weddings. The rooms are flexible and can be used to complement larger events or as standalone spaces for intimate ceremonies or receptions.
