Which is what we got with our Bok Tower Gardens Citrus Wedding Styled Shoot. 

The color palette for this styled shoot was inspired by the architecture and colors of the Pinewood Estate Mansion and the mandarins and oranges trees that abound in Bok Tower Gardens. The combination of the bold orange and yellow colors with the blush tones and greenery made for the most gorgeous color palette for Spring and Summer and total Floridian vibes.

The Venue: Bok Tower Gardens 

Bok Tower Gardens is a contemplative 250-acre garden in Lake Wales, Florida. It was named after American editor and Pulitzer Prize-winner author, Edward William Bok. Transformed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr, the most recognized architecture of his generation and full of enchanting native and exotic plants, Bok Tower Gardens is one of the nation’s most visited and stunning garden sanctuaries. 

Some of the things that make this venue special are its 205-foot tall Singing Tower, where Bok is buried at its base, its carillon bells and the Pinewood Estate Historic Mansion. This beautiful Florida wedding venue gave us the perfect mix of nature and architecture for this Citrus Garden Whimsical Wedding Photoshoot and exceeded all our expectations. 

Wedding Dresses: Lending Luxury 

Lending Luxury is a clothing company located in Tampa, Florida that allows you to rent dresses, including designer dresses for important occasions such as weddings, prom, holidays or just cause. They’ve been featured in American Idol, Good Morning America, CBS News and more! They provided the show-stopper dresses for this Bok Tower Gardens Wedding Shoot.

The first bridal outfit for this styled shoot was a dramatic long sleeve black chiffon gown embellished with sequin embroidery and an A-line skirt with a side slit. The tall trees, greenery and bell tower at Bok Tower Gardens all added to the elegance of the first part of the styled shoot and our model, Kayla wore the dress with the sophistication worthy of such a stunning dress, just as a princess would roaming around her mansion.

The second bridal outfit was an enchanting blush tulle gown with a lightly beaded bodice and airy tulle skirt. This skirt is lined to about mid-thigh and the tulle has a side slit. The back is low with a center back zip. The Pinewood Estate Mansion with its grotto and mandarin garden made for the perfect backdrop for such a delicate and feminine gown.

The Wedding Tuxedo: Luxury Tux

Luxury Tux is a clothing company located in Orlando, Florida that specializes in offering high end tuxedos for a man’s most important life events, such as his wedding day. Some of the premium tuxedo brands offered by Luxury Tux are Michael Kors, Allure Men, Jean Yves and more. They pride themselves in offering a wide range of styles and colors to choose from and their exceptional customer service, which I can attest to. 

They provided the elegant tuxedo for our Groom to wear for this Bok Tower Gardens Wedding Photoshoot. Our groom, Morgan donned a navy blue slim fit tuxedo to make contrast with the orange notes in his boutonniere and perfectly complement the bride’s dresses.

The Wedding Flowers: Faiella Creations

Faiella Creations is a wedding and event floral designer serving Central Florida and Treasure Coast. The owner, Jessica Faiella is a mother, a lover of horses and a second-generation florist taught by her mother. She keeps her mother’s legacy alive and helps bring joy to people through her artistry. 

 

The floral arrangements included gerber mini carnations, carnations spray rose, rose pin cushion with Israeli ruscus greenery. We featured two different bouquets including a more delicate one with flowers in blush tones and a bolder colorful bouquet with bright oranges and yellows. It was an honor having Jessica from Faiella Creations bring to life these beautiful and creative floral arrangements that perfectly complemented the color palette of this wedding styled shoot. 

The Wedding Cake: Let Them Eat Cake 

Let Them Eat Cake’s owner Claire North is a custom cake decorator in Orlando Florida. She takes pride in baking all her cakes from scratch and using ingredients of the highest quality so that your cake not only looks gorgeous but also tastes delicious. 

The cake for this Bok Tower Lake Wales wedding featured real orange slices and white flowers in contrasting light blue fondant, giving the perfect summer vibe and perfectly playing on the Citrus theme of the styled shoot. This cake was almost too pretty to eat!

The Bridal Makeup and Hair: Denise Marie Beauty LLC

Denise Marie Beauty is a creative professional makeup and hair artist in Central Florida. She specializes in timeless, radiant, photo-ready beauty for Tampa Brides. Denise takes pride in personalizing your makeup by highlighting your best features to bring out your inner celebrity. 

Our bride, Kayla wore her hair in a beautiful up-do, and make up in rose tones to showcase her natural beauty, her look was stunning and princess-like. 

The Bride & Groom

Kayla Strada was our Tampa Bride for this wedding styled shoot. She is an Australian experienced female model in Orlando, Florida. Some of the work that she’s very successful at includes acting, fashion, pinup, promotional, modeling, lifestyle and much more. 

Morgan Middlebrook was our Tampa Groom for the shoot. He is an experienced male model of over 10 years located in Tampa, Florida. Some of the things that he excels at are acting, art, cosplay, fashion, fitness, modeling, and much more. 

Kayla and Morgan worked very well together and their chemistry resulted in beautiful photos.
