Madeleine and Paul are engaged! This January, the two made things official and I met up with them this spring to capture a gorgeous Downtown Tampa rooftop engagement session. We celebrated them and their love of the city in a beautiful evening together. I’m so happy for Madeleine and Paul. I know they’re going to be incredibly happy together!

Their Love Story

Madeleine and Paul met online before getting engaged this January! Madeleine and Paul took a trip to Savannah, GA to pick up a puppy. They decided to make a vacation out of the trip. While there, Paul proposed to Madeleine in Forsyth Park. They celebrated with a beautiful carriage ride. Madeleine told me that it was so easy to fall in love with Paul. He was always sweet and kind to her – and her friends used to call him the “flower boy” because he constantly brought her flowers. Madeleine and Paul are seriously the sweetest!!

Downtown Tampa Engagement Session

Madeleine and Paul  planned a super chic engagement session in Downtown Tampa. We met up on the rooftop of one of the buildings downtown, so that we could get some gorgeous views of the city behind them. Madeleine wore a super cute white dress with pearl edging and brought a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas. Paul looked dapper in a navy suit. Both outfits looked amazing with Tampa in the background – I think the blues and whites looked amazing against the city buildings.

While we were on the rooftop, Madeleine and Paul popped some champagne, too. It was lots of fun! I’m a huge fan of couples bringing props to their engagement session. It gives us something to do and often brings a fun element to their photos.

Waterfront Engagement Session

After enjoying the evening on the rooftop, we went to the Davis Island beachfront to end the night. Madeleine and Paul changed into a more casual look. I absolutely adored Madeleine’s white dress. It was flowy and looked perfect on the beach! Madeleine and Paul also brought their three pups to the beach, too. They looked so sweet in custom kerchiefs! Being on the beach at sunset was the best way to end the night.

Madeleine and Paul, congratulations on your engagement! I’m so happy for you both and thrilled I had the chance to get to know you both. I can’t wait for your wedding day!

I love getting to capture these special moments so that you can remember your wedding day for the rest of your life! For me, your wedding day is so much more than just a day.
