This stunning Florence Italy Styled wedding day was brought to life by Janna Brown Design Co. during her Italian workshop. It perfectly captured the charm of old-world Florence, Italy through its iconic locations, incredible details and textures, and beautiful attire. I honestly loved every moment exploring Florence with our models, vendor team, and other photographers. It felt so good to be back in Italy and capturing the romance of such a historic city!
Wedding Day Prep in Florence Italy
To begin the styled wedding day, we captured our bride and groom at a gorgeous frescoed flat in the heart of Florence. Seeing our young couple posed against the rich colors and history of the building was a dream. There, we captured the romantic details of the day including an invitation suite that was bursting with old-world charm inspired by this beautiful city. I loved photographing our beautiful bride on the small balcony – showing off the city streets and the playful top of her wedding gown.
Italy Wedding Dress
Our bride wore a stunning gown from Monique Lhuillier . The gown is a one shoulder gown with an asymmetrical cut on the skirt. With flowing fabric that layered reminiscent of fringe, this modern gown stood out among the historic sites of Florence. Paired with a dramatic white pair of heels, this ethereal dress was definitely one of my favorite parts of this Italian wedding day. Our groom looked dapper in a classic black suit – simple but classic. They both looked incredibly chic as the sun set around us and this beautiful city!
Iconic Florence Italy Wedding Portraits
During the styled wedding day, we explored some of Italy’s most iconic locations: Duomo di Firenze, Piazza della signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and a Frescoed Flat. This is one of my favorite parts of a destination wedding – celebrating the sights that make that spot special. I love finding new ways to play with old cities, highlighting my beautiful couple! The modern look of our bride and groom’s attire stood out in each location, but the bridge may have been my favorite. As the sun set, our bride’s Monique Lhuillier gown looked like it was glowing as she leaned against the centuries old stone. I can’t get enough of those sunset portraits!
