I loved creating these topical inspired wedding portraits at Hollis Garden for Yisel and Colin. It was so special to get to create something magical with this married couple. Yisel and Colin didn’t get all of the photos they dreamed of on their wedding day so it was important for them to have these special memories! 

Their Love Story

Yisel and Colin met over 6 years ago. They worked in the same place, but they were in different branches. He was in Pittsburgh and she was in Tampa. Eventually, they met when Colin visited Tampa for a project and before long, Colin moved to Tampa. He claimed it was the warmth, but Yisel will always believe it was because of her, ha! It was so sweet. 

Wedding Portraits in Hollis Garden

When Yisel and Colin were married, they didn’t take all of the photos they wanted. Yisel had been thinking about bridal portraits and more beautiful images with her wonderful husband, so she reached out about creating editorial style portraits at Hollis Garden. It was so fun for Yisel and Colin to get all dressed up for this special shoot! I absolutely loved Yisel’s strapless gown with a lace overlay. So gorgeous! 

Hollis Garden in Tampa FL

I absolutely LOVED the chance to work at Hollis Garden. This is a beautiful public botanical garden with neoclassical architecture among the flower beds and greenery in Lakeland, Florida. Yisel and Colin were amazing – as we wandered through the gardens. One of my favorite spots to work was the stone wall! It felt so tropical and we were instantly transported to somewhere incredible. There were so many gorgeous spots to cuddle and pose together as husband and wife.
