Congratulations to Rachel and Kyle! The newlyweds planned a gorgeous destination elopement in Tampa, FL with their closest friends and family. I’ve known Rachel since 2015 when we met studying abroad in Italy. While we were there, Kyle came to visit her and I met him while we were all there. It was an honor to get together again and be part of their special day here in Florida! 

Nashville TN Proposal

Rachel and Kyle got engaged in Nashville, TN where they live and had just bought a house together. With two of his sisters in two and it being a few days before their anniversary, Kyle proposed in a spontaneous way. Kyle proposed right before they signed their new contract on their house – at the top of their apartment overlooking Downtown Nashville. It was absolutely beautiful! 

Lido Key Beach Destination Elopement 

Rachel and Kyle’s Lido Key Beach wedding was beautiful and intimate right on the beach in Lido Key. They both have family here in Florida and knew they’d be in town for a 4th of July trip, so Rachel proposed getting married while they were here. They planned this gorgeous microwedding quickly and celebrated with their loved ones! As their Tampa wedding photographer, I captured their gorgeous ceremony and then their newlywed portraits on the beach.

Their ceremony site was simple but I loved the florals on the arbor they chose. The blue and white florals matched the bouquet that Rachel carried. She wore a stunning off the shoulder gown with lace sleeves – and she looked absolutely gorgeous. Rachel and Kyle kept things simple and beautiful, which is one of my favorite things about microweddings. You can keep things simple, focus on what matters most, and celebrate with the people who mean everything to you!
