Suddenly she was filled with happiness, with love. All the stress of the day melted away, she felt loved! This is the power of a small gesture, a small gesture of love that Shane did for his future wife.

From the very first day I met you, I knew there was something about you. I told myself: Shane, you need to get to know this woman. This is how Shane led off a very heartfelt letter that he snuck in Amy’s getting ready room.

A letter that meant the world to Amy as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle and become one with the love of her life. A letter that made her day!

When the Unexpected Happens

But unexpected things happen, and the weather surprised us with rain… Just in time for the outdoors ceremony, Oh no! The sky turned gray, seats got wet and for a moment we considered having the ceremony inside.

Amy & Shane kept calm and focused on what was really important; that whether they were getting married at the beautiful courtyard as planned or inside, the location didn’t change the meaning, their union is what really mattered!

Have you ever heard that rain on the wedding day means blessings? I truly believe this for Amy & Shane, especially since the rain ceased and the ceremony was held outdoors after all!

Your wedding day can be stressful and you can start to feel worry. If you are engaged and currently planning your wedding, I am sure you can totally relate to this feeling. The feeling of not knowing if you missed something, wondering if uncle Bob will say something inappropriate during the speech or how the weather will be on your big day.

Spartan Manor Wedding

Amy & Shane tied the knot at Spartan Manor. They had a lovely evening wedding decorated with romantic fuchsia décor.

He’s from Boston, she’s from Puerto Rico and it was so special to see them both come together along their guests for this celebration of love! And let me tell you, they can certainly party!

One of my favorite things about Amy & Shane is that they went out of their way during their engagement session. They owned it by personalizing it to them!
