We woke up early morning for our University of Tampa Engagement session, checked the weather, it did not look good. It was pretty much a guarantee that it would rain. Checked different weather forecast apps, maybe there is hope after all! Nope, the odds were definitely not in our favor. Do we re-schedule the session? If you are from Florida, I’m sure you can relate! One minute there’s sunshine and the next minute, there’s a storm!

Turns out, when we arrived to University of Tampa, it was not raining there. We beat the rain! The day was just cloudy and let me give you a quick photography tip: The clouds create even beautiful light!! Also check out this engagement session shot at UT here

Plus it didn’t feel as hot as Florida normally feels in August and we were even blessed with some sun! So the weather for this session could not have been any more perfect!

Their Love Story

In August of 2017, Austin asked Rachel a very important question, a question that changed their lives. He asked Rachel to spend the rest of her life with him, to be his one and only forever and she happily said yes!!A  year later Rachel and Austin found themselves at University of Tampa, the same location where Austin proposed, to have their engagement session! All the feels!! And I had the honor of capturing it!

Rachel & Austin met in high school and found out early on that they were meant for each other. These high school sweethearts have been dating for a decade now! Goals! These two love nature and the outdoors and University of Tampa and its surroundings was the perfect engagement session location because it had both the beautiful nature and jaw dropping architecture.
