Congratulations, Danica and Matt! Their Bella Cosa Lakeside wedding day was rainy – but beautiful – and full of sweet personal touches. Everyone was so excited to celebrate with them and I’ll never forget how Danica and Matt made the most of their wedding day. I can’t wait for you to see all of the fun personal details they brought to Bella Cosa Lakeside for their romantic celebration.
Their Love Story
Danica and Matt are high school sweethearts who have been together for 14 years. To say this wedding has been long-awaited is an understatement. In December 2020, Matt proposed to Danica during an office party (unexpected since they’d been traveling so much!) and they began to plan their beautiful wedding here at Bella Cosa Lakeside! I loved getting to know them and hear more about their love story during our Tampa engagement session this summer.
Rainy Orlando Florida Wedding Day
The day of Danica and Matt’s wedding was rainy! Tradition says this can be good luck, but I also know how stressful it can be for a couple. Thankfully, their incredible vendor team moved their ceremony inside without a second thought. We also lucked out with a break in the rain long enough to capture some outdoor portraits, which was a blessing!! Bella Cosa Lakeside is such a gorgeous venue – inside and out – but I’m happy we were able to document some wonderful portraits of Danica and Matt on the outdoor property. Rainy wedding days happen often in Florida, so trust your vendors and make a plan B, like Danica and Matt did!
Bella Cosa Lakeside Wedding Day
Danica and Matt’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and full of so many sweet moments. Perhaps my favorites happened at the ceremony. Matt built the arch for their ceremony, which is just incredible!! On top of that, Danica’s brother was their officiant. It was SO sweet to see how their family and friends were involved. But the personalized moments didn’t stop there. Their wedding cake was designed after their puppies and they had a taco station for their reception. Yes, tacos!!! I loved that. Danica and Matt also ended the night with a private last dance and bubble exit. Those little moments together are always the most special to me. I loved bearing witness to Danica and Matt’s new chapter beginning and watching them soak it all in!
Congratulations again, Danica and Matt. I’m so honored I was able to celebrate with you. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness and love in this next chapter of life.
