Want to know a secret? After years as a photographer in Florida’s wedding industry I have learned the best beaches to be married at. Today I am going to share one of my favorite locations for a Florida beach wedding! One of my favorites is New Smyrna Beach. A gorgeous New Smyrna Beach wedding is the perfect way to tie the knot and enjoy a stunning day along the waterfront. Next to a national seashore and close to downtown’s palm-lined Canal Street, you will be blown away with just how much this wedding location has to offer!
New Smyrna Beach Wedding
Just south of Dayton Beach is the notorious surf hub of New Smyrna Beach. With views of Ponce Inlet and its lighthouse, this Florida beach wedding spot will be perfect for any romantic! After you say your vows you can head into the Historic District to visit art galleries, shops and museums. Not only is it full of historic sites, but it is also stunning and lively!
From the blue waters, to the warm sunsets. New Smyrna Beach will fill your soul with delight and wonder! You will be able to find farmers markets, street events and so many fun restaurants to try. The experience of a New Smyrna Beach wedding is one of a life time! You will feel the charm of a small town with the excitement of a city.
The Grand Ol’ Barn
This wedding venue has been voted Central Florida’s Most Beautiful Wedding Venue, and for good reason! This space is one of the last standing vintage citrus packing barns in Florida and is currently a spacious and comfortable wedding venue. There is a total of 12,000 sq ft to create the wedding of your dreams. You will truly find it all with a Grand Ol’ Barn wedding!
In the 12,000 sq ft of the Grand Ol’ Barn you will find an indoor wedding chapel, outdoor ceremony garden, a grand ballroom and a dedicated cocktail hour museum hall. And if you think that is impressive, you will also have an extensive suite of exclusive amenities for you to use with no additional charge! Each piece was hand selected by their wedding team to bring you an all in one expereince!
Minimalist Wedding Design
Creating a minimalist wedding design requires more thought than you may initially think. I loved this design because of the simplicity and attention to detail. The strong colors are accompanied with soft shapes and touches of organic pieces. This type of balance allows for the minimalist wedding décor to make a statement without over powering your celebration.
One piece of minimalist wedding décor that I was especially impressed with was the written tapestry. This is such a beautiful way to add personality and meaning to your design. Either have your personal vows, the lyrics of your first dance song, or a meaningful poem inscribed on a tapestry. There are so many different places that you can display it on your wedding day, and you can even go on to fram and hang it in your home together.
Natural Rentals Color Palette
Natural rentals are all the rage right now, and are predicted to only increase in demand! They are a modern way to indulge your guests with comfort while keeping the overall vibe casual and light hearted. This natural rental in particular was inviting and relaxing while incorporating a sense of luxury.
Creating a relaxing atmosphere for this Smyrna Beach wedding was the color palette. The light blues, creams and silvers offered a calming invitation to take a seat and enjoy the day. However, the greenery and organic lines brought interest and excitement to the space. The combination of the color palette and statement pieces allow for elegance and luxury to shine as the star.
Your Florida beach wedding day deserve to be everything you could ever dream of! I am so excited for your big day and all the fun planning that goes into it.
