Karina and Corey are now husband and wife! They hosted an intimate and sophisticated Oxford Exchange wedding this year in Tampa, Florida. I loved getting to know these two and capturing their special day with their closest family and friends. They planned the most elegant day, celebrating what mattered most to them. Truly, that’s what wedding days should always be! Congratulations, Karina and Corey!!

Their Love Story

Karina and Corey met on Tinder 5 years ago. At the time, Karina was in PA school and there just weren’t many people to meet. When Karina and Corey met, everything just clicked into place and a year after their relationship began, they moved in together. As their relationship progressed, they knew marriage was in their future. Corey was planning to propose when they went on a trip abroad to Greece and London. He wanted to propose in London, but with the pandemic, their plans changed. 

A London Proposal 

In May 2022, two years after their first trip, they traveled back to London. Corey knew he had to propose then! He proposed at the Victoria Palace Theater, after watching Hamilton – which they both love!! Karina absolutely loves the vibe of London and the gold theater. It absolutely elevated their night. Outside, in the same spot that they’d taken a picture on their first trip, Corey proposed. He even sang a line from “Helpless” in Hamilton during the proposal! 

Sophisticated Oxford Exchange Wedding

Corey is Greek and they’re known for traditional weddings, often very large celebrations, too! But, from the start of planning, Karina and Corey knew they wanted something much smaller. They decided an intimate wedding day would be the way to go to reduce the stress of wedding planning. Karina mentioned that they wanted something like a dinner party that everyone could just show up to and enjoy.  

Because of that, they chose the beautiful Oxford Exchange in Tampa! It gave them London vibes here in Florida that they wanted. I love how elegant this venue feels! They hosted an intimate reception and dinner after their ceremony. Their ceremony was held along the staircase inside Oxford Exchange. It’s lined with famous portraits and was a beautiful, unique setting for their ceremony. 

Karina and Corey did a first look before their ceremony. This gave us extra time to play with portraits inside Oxford Exchange – especially on the staircase. Afterwards, we explored the street outside for more newlywed portraits. I loved watching Karina and Corey enjoy their day. They were so relaxed and happy to be married! 

Intimate Dinner Party Wedding Reception 

To end the night, Karina and Corey held a dinner reception. It was held in another beautiful room – with a gorgeous brick textured wall. I was obsessed! They added in gold and pink details along with a gift for each guest. One of my favorite details was the books they chose for each person who attended their celebration. It was placed on their dinner plate. What a super sweet and personal touch for each of them!! 

Karina and Corey, I wish you a lifetime of love together. You are clearly made to be together – and I’m thrilled you found each other. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you!! Congratulations again!
