Congratulations, Carly and Drew! They planned a gorgeous tropical Ritz Carlton Sarasota Wedding here in Florida. From the first call I had with the (now) newlyweds, I knew they were my kind of people. They’re incredibly sweet and they’re fellow entrepreneurs – Carly’s a social media manager and Drew’s a web designer. I have so much admiration for these two and am simply honored to have celebrated with them on such a special day. 

Their Love Story

Carly and Drew are a great couple. They actually shared their love story with me and I wanted to share it with you: “Carly & Andrew met while studying for their Bachelor’s Degrees at The University of Tampa in 2015. Both Carly & Drew decided to check out Tinder & Drew asked Carly where he could submit his boyfriend application (true story, ha!). Drew’s eyes caught Carly’s attention so she had to meet him. Drew decided to cook for Carly and Carly LOVES cooking. The meal was great and let’s just say it was love at first bite. That special night led to a whirlwind of dates, adventures, more cooking nights, chats about entrepreneurship and moments to dream big. Fast forward to February, 2021 while Carly & Drew were in Tulum, Drew surprised Carly & proposed.” 

Tulum, Mexico Proposal

In February 2021, Carly and Drew took a trip to Tulum, Mexico. There, Drew surprised Carly with a proposal. The whole time leading up to the trip, Drew was nervous because the ring only showed up a few days right before they left. Their trip was both business and pleasure – they were staying in an air bnb there while attending a business conference. Drew kept his plans pretty open for the actual proposal, but ended up doing it on the second night. They were eating dinner with an amazing view and proposed while the sun was setting. He thought it was the most perfect epic moment to propose. It was a very private, intimate proposal which they loved!

Their big day was filled with the most gorgeous tropical florals, which I’m still gushing over. Brides N Blooms seriously hit it out of the park with this one! They created the most stunning bouquets of white and tropical greens. I love that Carly and Drew found a way to create an elevated tropical feeling for their wedding day by focusing on whites, golds, and a fun pop of blue with Drew’s suit at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota. 

High Fashion Florida Wedding

Carly and Drew’s big day had many incredible fashion statements. One of the most amazing was Carly’s custom made reception dress inspired by Hailey Beiber’s Vera Wang wedding dress! It was stunning and she looked amazing. We also all laughed but loved it when the entire bridal party changed into Nikes for the reception! I’m always here for those fun moments that bring your personality to your wedding day!
