Congratulations, Xuan and Anthony! This fall, they held a gorgeous wedding at the Tampa Yacht Club infused with beautiful pastel details and classic Vietnamese traditions. It was a celebration of their love story and what makes them both such unique and incredible people. I’m so honored I was able to be a part of their Tampa wedding day in November!

Their Love Story

Xuan and Anthony were destined to be together! A patient of Xuan’s had been trying to set her up with her son, but Xuan declined. Later on, she and Anthony wound up meeting at Forbici – and it turned out that he was the patient’s son, 2 years later. In 2022, Anthony surprised Xuan with a proposal two days before Thanksgiving at home with a special meal and intimate celebration. It was perfect – and you can learn more about them in this blog about their St. Pete Beach engagement session!

Tampa Yacht Club Wedding Ceremony

Xuan and Anthony had a beautiful wedding day at Tampa Yacht Club. They chose a romantic blush pink color palette paired with navy blue, gold, and ivory details. Everything was incredible! Xuan and Anthony’s wedding ceremony took place right on the lawn at Tampa Yacht Club surrounded by their family and friends – and the most gorgeous white florals everywhere. It felt like spring had visited us in Tampa again, even in November!

Vietnamese Wedding Traditions

Xuan is Vietnamese, so it was important to her and her family that they included some traditions in their Tampa wedding day. During their (gorgeous!) reception, Xuan and Anthony changed into traditional outfits to complete Chao Ban, a Vietnamese tradition to welcome each guest. Chao ban translates into “greeting table”, where the bride and groom visit each table during dinner service and thank them for coming. Usually one person at each table wishes the couple well with some words and everyone toasts our drinks.

I’m so happy for you both, Xuan and Anthony! Your November wedding day was simply stunning and I’m thrilled I could capture these special moments for you and your families. I wish you many years of happiness and joyful marriage ahead!
