A Florida beach wedding is classic and dreamy aesthetic, and as a Tampa wedding photographer I get to capture so many! Some of my favorites have been destination weddings with couple who travel out of state. I absolute loved Travis and Tiffany’s St. Petersburg beach wedding, and am so glad they made the trip to tie the knot!

St. Petersburg Beach Wedding

Travis and Tiffany travelled from Oklahoma to St. Petersburg for their destination wedding. And it truly was the perfect Florida beach wedding day! Their wedding day was perfectly sunny weather, and the beach was quite and private. This made their small wedding even more sacred and intimate.

St. Petersburg is a wonderful place to have your Florida beach wedding because of the numerous private beaches. There are many five start resorts on St. Petersburg beach that cater to weddings, making it simple to reserve a beach. I recommend planning you wedding on a private beach, especially if you are getting married on a weekend or during a busy season!

Boho Florida Beach Wedding

The details from this wedding were absolutely gorgeous! Travis and Tiffany kept it simple with their decor and color palette, letting the beach truly be the focal point of the ceremony. With small bohemian accents and classic wedding staples, this St. Petersburg wedding was timeless and trendy!

Florals

Your wedding florals have the ability to set the tone for you wedding style. Tiffany chose to have classic white roses and fern, as well as pompous and eucalyptus. It was a beautiful combination of a traditional wedding style with pops of modern bridal florals.

Bohemian Decor

Keeping decor simple, yet impactful works best for a beach wedding! And that is exactly what this couple did! From the triangular wedding arch to the white macramé, Travis and Tiffany’s Florida beach wedding had the perfect amount of boho decor! It was truly elegant and influenced their overall aesthetic.

Color Palette

This St. Petersburg beach wedding had such an elegant color palette! Travis and Tiffany chose a beautiful Juniper green for their daughters bridesmaids dresses. And to accent they had pops of navy and bright blue. Focusing the blues on smaller details gave the Juniper green the greatest impact for this wedding!

First Look

Tiffany’s dress was stunning in every sense of the word! The fabric was light and dreamy with sequence details in different geometric and ornate patterns. This gown was truly one of a kind! And after she was all dressed up it was time for her first looks!

Before the big reveal to Travis, Tiffany had a first look with her daughters. It was an absolutely tender moment! Everyone was emotional and full of joy, making this a memory that I am so grateful I got to capture! As a Tampa wedding photographer I am passionate about capturing the raw emotions that come from your wedding day, so that you can look back on them for generations to come!

After her first look with her daughters, Tiffany had a first look with Travis. It was such a beautiful thing to witness Travis seeing his bride for the first time! All of the giddy emotions simmered down as they connected with each other, creating a calm and serene atmosphere for them to walk down the aisle!

Meaningful Moments

Wedding days deserve to be filled with special moments that bring together not just the bride and groom, but the entire family! This can be done in so many ways, but I absolutely adore how Tiffany and Travis added meaningful moments to their Florida beach wedding.

Blended Family Prayer

Travis and Tiffany both have daughters from before their relationship. To honor their children coming together into one family, the couple chose to have a blended family prayer during their wedding ceremony. This was a beautiful sentiment the the union of not only Travis and Tiffany, but their daughters as well.

Cord Of Three

To honor their faith Tiffany and Travis opted to incorporate The Cord of Three Strands into their wedding ceremony. The three stands represented the bride, the groom and God being united as one in their marriage. This had great meaning to the couple, and created a sacred moment to be remembered forever!

Daughters’ Speeches

During their reception, all of the daughter gave speeches about their parents marriage and family being united! Each speech was beautiful and unique. However, every daughter shared how excited they were to have new sisters and a new blended family. By the end of the speeches everyone was in tears!

Tiffany and Travis: Thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you and capture all of these tender memories! Your Florida beach wedding was truly a perfect day. I wish you many blessings as you begin your new journey as husband and wife.
