Jen and Chris are getting married! This summer, I captured a Tampa engagement session at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Vinoy Hotel, two of the most beautiful spots in the area. We were able to capture some incredibly luxurious images in front of these landmarks and on the beach with a gorgeous sunset to top it all off. Jen and Chris really brought it for their classic Tampa engagement session!

Their Love Story

Jen and Chris met while they were in college in Kentucky. As many college love stories go, they became friends and fell in love during their time together. In July of this year, Jen and Chris moved to Tampa after being engaged for a few months. Now, they’ve been engaged for about a year and are planning their dream Florida wedding day! After spending time with Jen and Chris, I can tell you that they’re just such fun and easy-going people. They love laughing and having a good time together.

Tampa Engagement Session

We kicked off Jen and Chris’s engagement session at the museum. There’s some incredible architectural details that I wanted to include in their portraits – including the gorgeous fountain outside. I’m always looking for fun and unique details to include in photos, to bring color and life into the images. The bright pink walls are one of my favorite spots to photograph my couples at the museum. There’s just something so fun about them and Jen and Chris were amazing – looking beautiful everywhere we stopped.

Sunset Beach Engagement Portraits

To end our session, Jen, Chris and I headed down for some more casual and playful portraits on the beach at sunset. Jen and Chris popped the champagne and relaxed as the sun began to set. With the Vinoy Hotel behind them, we captured more portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds in front of another Tampa landmark. It was the perfect way to wrap up our night together!

Congratulations again, Jen and Chris. I’m so happy for you both. I know that your Florida wedding day is going to be stunning and I am already counting down the days until I see you again.

I love getting to capture these special moments so that you can remember your wedding day for the rest of your life! For me, your wedding day is so much more than just a day.

You deserve a wedding photographer who is invested in you and capturing every moment! Reach out and let’s connect to book your wedding day here in Florida (or around the world)!
