MacKenzie and Christian are married! They tied the knot in an elegant and joyful celebration at The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas in Tampa. The entire day felt so, so beautiful and I loved being along the water all day long. MacKenzie and Christian are a lot of fun and their wedding day was full of special moments and lots of laughs. I had a wonderful day celebrating with them and their guests! 

Their Love Story

Funnily enough, MacKenzie and Christian met during another wedding. They were paired together to walk down the aisle and hit it off. After another few weeks, Christian invited MacKenzie to a pool party and they instantly felt the spark. During a trip to Mexico, Christian proposed with the help of some of the other cruise guests. It was so romantic! I met up with them last year to capture their beach engagement session, and it was so fitting their wedding day was along the water, too. 

Joyful Wedding Day 

MacKenzie and Christian are a blast. Although their wedding day was full of emotion (read below!), they also just had a lot of fun with their friends and family. Throughout the day, they continued to make me laugh – and I wasn’t the only one. During their first look with the bridal party, they iced their bridal party. It was hilarious and everyone was a good sport about drinking their Smirnoff!! One of the other beautiful and joyful moments of their wedding was that MacKenzie and Christian chose to do a sunset sparkler exit. It might be my new favorite thing for a wedding day!!!! Their sparkler exit was just gorgeous at dusk – the colors were so warm and MacKenzie and Christian were glowing. 

Waterfront Wedding Ceremony in Florida 

One of the best spots at The Godfrey is their ceremony location on the patio. It overlooks the water and is simply stunning at all parts of the day. MacKenzie and Christian’s ceremony was gorgeous – and they made sure to honor MacKenzie’s dad with a reserved seat. I love how a simple little gesture can be so powerful. Speaking of special moments, MacKenzie and Christian chose to have a harpist play during their ceremony. Everything felt SO elegant because of their musician – simply beautiful. 

Congratulations, MacKenzie and Christian. Your waterfront wedding in Tampa was luxurious and beautiful. I loved it all – from the elegant pastel color scheme to the hilarious moments throughout the day. Everything felt so YOU and I’m honored I could be with you both to start this chapter of your lives.
