When I think of Chris and Kaci’s wedding day, the first word that comes to mind is “elegant”. They planned a gorgeous wedding day at The Regent in Riverview FL that I had the pleasure of photographing! We had the most beautiful gardens for their portraits, and they chose a stunning color scheme for the day. It was all picture perfect! 

Emerald & Ivory Color Palette

Kaci and Chris chose an elegant color palette for their wedding day: emerald green, tan, and ivory. I love those colors together! Between the bridesmaids’ gorgeous emerald gowns and the groomsmen in their tan suits, everything came together beautifully. Kaci carried a bouquet of ivory florals with green accents – another little touch that pulled the palette all together. 

Elegant Florida Wedding Reception in Riverview

The newlyweds held their reception at the Regent’s ballroom. To bring some color into the space, Kaci and Chris had a fun greenery wall behind the head table decorated with florals and beautiful lights. It looked beautiful all night long – and was a great backdrop for them as they enjoyed toasts and speeches. They also used simple floral centerpieces and gold table numbers to brighten up each table for the guests. Kaci and Chris surprised their guests with a choreographed dance to kick off the party, too! How fun is that?!

Kaci and Chris have such a sweet love story. They met at a mutual friend’s wedding on a cruise in 2015. While they didn’t exchange numbers during the wedding, they reconnected about a month later and kept talking. During that point, they were living across the country from each other but they persevered! Not long after, Chris proposed to Kaci on a trip to Bok Tower Gardens, and now, they’re husband and wife!! 

Kaci and Chris, I hope you enjoy a long life together – full of love and laughter. You are two very special people, and together you create something truly beautiful. I’m so happy to know you both!
