Congratulations to Alyssa and Jose! These high school sweethearts tied the knot in an intimate Tampa microwedding at Philippe Park. The entire day was so beautiful and emotional as their closest family watched them exchange vows. Alyssa and Jose planned a romantic microwedding day – filled with what meant the most to them. I’m honored I could be there to celebrate as they became husband and wife! 

Their Love Story 

Alyssa and Jose have known each other since they were 13 years old. Even then, they knew their love was something special. Joe is two years older than Alyssa and after his graduation, he enlisted in the military. Alyssa wasn’t sure she was ready for the commitment of that kind of relationship, so their love story took a break. But, 10 years later they reconnected. Since then, it’s been a fairytale! Alyssa told me that Jose is “truly her best friend.” 

On a trip to Greece, Jose proposed to Alyssa! They were traveling for 10 days and while they were in Santorini, he proposed in the most beautiful spot. Everything was caught on video and in photos! It sounds so romantic – and the perfect way to begin the next chapter of their love story together!! 

Intimate Tampa Microwedding

Alyssa and Jose knew that they wanted their wedding day to be a more intimate, small event with their immediate families present. They planned a sweet Philippe Park microwedding in Tampa, FL. It was absolutely beautiful! With a navy blue and pale pink color scheme, their day looked stunning against the big trees in the park. Alyssa and Jose decided to focus on a beautiful and small ceremony, leaving the big party for another time at home. That doesn’t mean they didn’t have a good time, though! Their wedding party was so much fun – and kept the energy high for Alyssa and Jose!! I loved working with all of them! 

Emotional Wedding Ceremony in Tampa Park

Their ceremony was SO emotional. So many of their guests were crying – it was something special to witness. During the vows, Jose used a quote from Winnie the Pooh that really stuck with me: “If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” It really stood out to me – I just loved how it fit into their vows. 

Alyssa and Jose, thank you for asking me to be a part of your love story. Your intimate microwedding in Tampa was absolutely stunning and I’m honored that I was able to be there with you both. I wish you many more years of love and happiness!
